What does a Dispatcher do?
Locate loads and speak with the BROKER on behalf of the CARRIER. The DISPATCHER negotiates the rates, but CARRIER has the final decision.

Does The EAD Group give referral bonus?

Can a Dispatch broker freight?
A DISPATCHER can not legally broker freight

Hiring a dispatch company frees up time for the driver or the CARRIER. Having a dispatcher means that the CARRIER doesn’t have to consistently watch the load boards.

Does The EAD Group offer a guarantee?
There are no guarantees in any industry. The EAD Group does dedicate time for each carrier. Out of the offers present to the CARRIER, it is up to the CARRIER to accept a load.

What is the purpose of Factoring Company?
The purpose of the factoring company is to payout an amount based on the rate confirmations using the Billing of Lading as confirmation of delivery. The amount is generally the difference of the total amount and the factoring fee.

What happens if I do not own my own equipment?
If you do not have your equipment (trailer or ELD), we will select the option to move power only freight, loadout trailer usage, rent or lease trailers. We will use our partnership to pair CARRIERS and companies together.

Does a Dispatcher have to adhere to the FMCSA Guidelines?
There are no guidelines or regulations specifically for DISPATCHERS, however they need to know various guidelines that are designated for CARRIERS and DRIVERS. An important regulation to know is the Hours of Service.
